Jordan Brown might combine his talents with a Wildcat roster full of potential…

Not one, not two but three remaining schools are still in the running for Jordan Brown. The good news for Wildcat fans is that Jordan has Arizona Basketball in his top three choices along with Nevada and California Golden Bears. There is no doubt, that Jordan will add much-needed potential to any one of these basketball programs.

Brown, a McDonald’s All-American, currently attends Profile Prep Academy where he averaged 25 points a game along with 13 rebounds. Standing 6-foot-10 and weighing in at 195 pounds, Jordan will add some size and length to any frontcourt. His stature will also help him protect the rim. In High School as he averaged 2 blocks a game.

Even though Tucson will always love Dusan, a commitment from Jordan would be a huge lift for this Wildcats basketball teams recruiting class. As of right now, the Cats 2018 recruiting class sits at No. 21 nationally. Some experts have said that if Miller can get a Jordan Brown to commit to the University of Arizona, their recruiting class could jump as high as No. 7 nationally. This would also put UA ahead of our friendly rivals up north who call themselves “Guard U” also known as ASU. How sweet would that be?

Wildcat fans everywhere hope that Jordan Brown will be wearing “Arizona” on his chest. The tide seems to turn with each report that comes out. It was initially reported on Twitter that Jordan was taking an official visit to Nevada last weekend, opting out of playing in the Ballislife All-American game. If he went to the game, he would have been front and center for Brandon Williams re-commitment. The official visit transformed into an unofficial visit. This leaves Jordan with one official visit left. It will be critical for Miller and his staff to make sure his last official visit is to the UofA campus as it would greatly increase the chance of receiving a commitment from No. 5 power forward in the 2018 recruiting class.

Brown is looking to make his first major step on his way to what hopefully ends up being an NBA career. Wildcat fans have already taken to Twitter to let Jordan know how much they would love to see him in T-Town next year. Just like they did for the most recent commit Brandon Williams who chose Arizona over Gonzaga and Oregon. A commitment for Jordan Brown would be a game changer due to his defense and scoring ability that he can bring night in and night out.

Decision will be announced this Friday!
