No. 4 – Quarterback

Surprising? Not completely.

We are all too familiar with the playmaking ability of Khalil Tate by now. He took college football by storm last season, and had a remarkable season in the seven games he started with the Wildcats.

Fast forward to 2018, and their aren’t many secrets left regarding the talented junior. Teams are becoming more familiar with his strengths and at least are game planning to try and slow him down.

So, how is he going to respond? Well, he certainly could use a little more development in the passing game, and that’s something he and newly acquired offensive coordinator Noel Mazzone have been working on.

The best athletes in any sport always find ways to improve and continue to push themselves to get better, and 2018 will surely be a big test for Tate! How much did he improve this off-season? Will his style of play look all that different from last year?

Those are questions myself, and I’m sure other Arizona fans have heading into this season, but nonetheless, these are some major reasons why I think the quarterback position is super important heading into Saturday’s showdown with the Cougs!
