No. 3 – Wide Receiver

Last season, the Wildcats didn’t seem to have too many deep-ball threats. Perhaps that could change for 2018!

Returning are Shawn Poindexter, Shun Brown, Tony Ellison and Cedric Peterson most namely among others. There’s some talent, but size, depth and production are things being questioned the most.

The group is another year older, so that certainly bodes well for the Cats, but if Arizona is going to become more of a passing team, well, a few guys are going to need to step-up! Who will do so?

Well, the obvious answer would be any of the following players listed above. However, I think there could be a few additional surprises this season from Brian Casteel, Devaughn Cooper and Thomas Marcus, Jr. too!

If Arizona is going to continue to produce on the offensive side of the ball at a high level, they’re going to need to provide help to Tate. He can certainly take over games by himself, but I feel the Wildcats are going to need a bit of balance, and receiver would be one of the obvious positions that could help him.
