Arizona Basketball: Four-Star wing Terry Armstrong picks the Wildcats
Arizona Basketball is rolling! After securing commits from Nico Mannion, Josh Green and Christian Koloko, four-star wing Terry Armstrong is coming to Tucson!
Anyone who said Arizona Basketball recruiting has stopped may have spoken prematurely. Nearly in November, and the Wildcats have secured commits from Josh Green, Nico Mannion and Christian Koloko.
On Wednesday, Arizona got one more! Meet Terry Armstrong, the 6-feet-6-inch four-star wing in the class of 2019! Arizona Basketball now has the No. 2 recruiting class in the country for 2019.

Originally from Flint, Michigan, Armstrong has since relocated to Arizona, having played Bella Vista College Preparatory School in Scottsdale, AZ the past couple seasons now. Armstrong enters his senior year with a lot of hype.
However, before he does that, he wanted to get a few things out of the way.
It’s not a secret that the Wildcats were considered one of his top choices for a little while now, recently narrowing his list to four schools!
A month and a few school visits later, Armstrong felt it was time to finally shut it down. On Wednesday, he committed to the University of Arizona, picking the Wildcats over offers from Oregon, New Mexico and Oklahoma among others.
He becomes the fourth commit in the class for Arizona, and is a good one! Considered a Top 60 player in the country according to Rivals.com, Terry is a fantastic get for Arizona!

Armstrong is a very versatile basketball player, and as we’ve said before, he’s very much a combo player. He’s able to play the two-guard and small forward positions with relative ease, and has great length to do so and being an impact player!
He’s a very efficient scorer, showing the ability to score at all three levels, and possesses great explosiveness and overall athleticism.
Just from watching his film, there’s a lot to like here, and you can clearly see that he plays with a lot of confidence. He finishes around the rim well, has a nice touch from 15-feet and beyond and is tenacious at getting the rebound and getting good put backs. Overall, Terry just does a lot of things really well.
At Zona Zealots, we are excited for the addition of Terry, and can’t wait to see him suit up in the red and blue! Bear Down, Arizona and congrats Terry!
