Allonzo Trier
The King of New York. Allonzo Trier is one of two players who was undrafted and many teams are now shaking their heads wish they had choose “Iso Zo.” Trier has been on fire since the start of the season and his living up to his nickname. While at Arizona he loved to go one and one, but because the college game isn’t as spread out as the NBA game he really didn’t have the chance to take full advantage of his talents.
Trier is currently on a two-way contract with the Knicks and with the way he is playing that might change. Hopefully, the Knicks will do the right thing and sign him long term. In the short time he has been a Knick, he has brought back that excitement to Madison Square Garden.
In 21 games played, he has started in three of them and is averaging 11.4 points per game, 2.9 rebounds per game and 1.6 assists per game. Trier has multiple 20+ point games and every game he is providing ESPN Top 10 highlights.
Just recently he set a new New York Knick record:
There is nothing better than getting the chance to prove your doubters wrong. That is what Trier has been doing. He seems very confident in his ability to score against anyone in the NBA. Plus, having a chip on your shoulder of going undrafted, watch out!
Trier keeps on playing like this, he is going to have a long and successful career in the NBA
