We’re less than 24 hours away from the official start to the early signing period, and the Arizona Football team picked up another commit for 2019.

Things are shaping up for Arizona Football on the recruiting trail, as the Wildcats got another commitment in the class for 2019.

Now entering in the 11th hour prior to the start of the early signing period, Arizona got another good piece to the class of 2019, in the commitment of Paiton Fears.

If you have been paying attention, we alluded to the fact just days ago, that Fears could be a potential player to watch as commitments begin happening. Well, it appears Paiton was ready to decide, officially picking the Wildcats on Tuesday evening.

A standout tackle at Hutchinson Community College in Hutchinson, KS, Fears is a big commitment for Arizona, and no we are not talking about his size. Although, we must note, that Fears is quite the sturdy prospect, coming in at 6-feet-6-inches and over 325 pounds.

Rated a three-star junior college prospect, Fears reportedly picked Arizona over some nice offers including; Baylor, Missouri and West Virginia.

As we said, he’s a nice addition for Arizona, and becomes the 18th commitment in the class of 2019 for the Wildcats.

He has great size and experience and could see Fears competing for playing time right away, so long as he’s able to adjust the division one college game.

I do like a lot of things that Paiton does! For one, he moves quite well for a player his size. He really gets after it, keeping his eyes downfield to see who he can hit.

He doesn’t shy from contact, has a great first punch off the line of scrimmage, and is really able to engage with the defender to make their life hell. I really like the motor and effort he plays with and overall has good feet

Paiton is strong, physical and loves to hit from what I can tell in his film. There’s a lot to like about the way he plays, and with him at Arizona, I think he can really help bolster this offensive line next year and beyond!
