Can this year’s Arizona Basketball team make the NCAA Tournament? Let’s discuss.

This year’s Arizona Basketball team has already gone through its fair share of ups and downs, which is why this has become a big question. It started with the questionable reporting of ESPN’s Mark Schlabach when he dropped the bombshell report of Sean Miller being caught on tape saying he allegedly paid Deandre Ayton $100,000.

This report seemed to have scared off Shareef O’Neal, Shaquille O’Neal’s son and possibly scared away many other recruits that were on Arizona’s radar. Arizona was able to recover by adding Devonaire Doutrive and Brandon Williams in the recruiting cycle, and they got Ryan Luther and Justin Coleman from the grad transfer market.

As much as Sean Miller and his program recovered, people were still calling this year a down year because the damage from the ESPN report was already done.
