No. 6 – Keith Smith

Position: Quarterback

Years at Arizona: 1996-99

Stats at Arizona: 423/706 (59.9 percent) | 5,829 yards | 41 touchdowns | 26 INT’s – 284 carries | 1,052 yards | 15 touchdowns

Oh, what could have been with Keith Smith! The dual-threat quarterback during the later Dick Tomey years, he was a standout at Newbury Park High School in Southern California prior to coming to Tucson.

In his freshman season, Keith would put up tremendous numbers, before an injury-riddled sophomore season that would ultimately change his path at Arizona a little bit.

Then came Ortege Jenkins and that kind of affected his overall production. Although Smith would appear in 43 games for the Wildcats, he would still throw for over 5,000 yards, meanwhile throwing for 41 touchdowns and running for 15 more!

He was a dynamic athlete and football player that did some amazing things, and that’s why he’s one of our Top Quarterbacks of all-time!

Just take a look at some of his old highlights!
