The Arizona Basketball social media account has fans buzzing with excitement in anticipation for the upcoming 2019-20 season.

The Arizona Basketball social media account has been providing a glimpse into the players preparing for the 2019- 20 season, and we’re getting anxious with anticipation.

This year there will be some familiar faces such as head coach Sean Miller, and Chase Jeter, however, there also has been some new faces showing up summer practice. So with all they hype, how can you not be excited about next season?!

After a year in which was rather uncharacteristic for Arizona Basketball, we saw a recruiting class that was made up mostly of last second commits and grad transfers, making the learning curve steep from the onset.

Additionally, we saw the continuation of the Arizona ‘pile on’ from the media over the NCAA investigation, regarding the potential payment to Deandre Ayton.

The initial allegation had come out almost a year and half ago, and it’s a moment Wildcat fans would love to forget.

Although I’m sure nothing would help ‘Cats fans forget better, than having a few photos from the latest summer workouts from the McKale Center. From early indications, we can see a group of hungry Wildcats working hard to ensure this season is one to never forget.

This most recent post below shows a couple of Wildcats who won’t be playing next year (Jordan Brown and Jemarl Baker, Jr.), but are putting in the time and effort to learn the system under Sean Miller. Both Baker Jr. and Brown will be sitting out this year due as per transfer rules. When it comes there time though, they will have a full year and then some of practice under their belt when they do take the floor.

It only gets better from there, as we get our first look at some fresh faces in Nico Mannion and Stone Gettings (top right). We also see familiar faces in coach Jack Murphy and Dylan Smith.

While these photos might not do it for some fans, perhaps one thing that should get everyone excited is the upcoming Red & Blue game! This is a great way to see this Wildcat team for the first time, and it is guaranteed to be one of the greatest shows on the hardwood floor in college basketball.
