No. 7 – Arizona beats ASU 56-35 without completing a pass in the 2nd Half

When: November 25, 2016

Outcome: Arizona won 56-35

Where: Tucson, AZ

The game that has turned into a meme! While it wasn’t one of the most important wins in Arizona Football history, it’s surely one of the more popular games between the two schools.

This rivalry has always been about bragging rights, and regardless of record, whoever wins this game has the upper hand in trash talk for the whole year!

Coming into this one, Arizona was struggling to say the least, and despite having only two wins prior to this game, who knew we would be in store for such a fantastic game.

Granted Arizona had a number of things go wrong earlier in the season that set up for the way things went, but the Wildcats were able to come into this game, controlling the clock from the start by running the football, abandoning the ‘no-huddle offense’ and were able to put up a flurry of points!

After jumping out to a 28-14 halftime lead, Arizona would ultimately cruise to the 56-35 win, meanwhile exploding for 511 yards rushing.

Relive those moments here!
