No. 1 – Aaron Blackwell

Position: Defensive Lineman
Height: 6’3”
Weight: 293 LBS

2019 Game Stats: 1 GP – Three tackles (one solo).

The only other senior transfer for the Wildcats, the former New Mexico defensive lineman in Aaron Blackwell is probably the most intriguing player on the list of Spring players to watch.

Given the lack of depth and production along the defensive line since perhaps the Stoops era, Blackwell comes in at No. 1 our list.

First off, he’s a veteran player and comes in at a position of need! Disregard his stats from last year, should he stay healthy, we expect Aaron to have a sizable impact, and he could perhaps be the missing piece the Wildcats have been longing for along the defensive line!

Because of that, he is perhaps the most intriguing player to watch out for this Spring!
