No. 8 – Jaden Mitchell

Position: Wide Receiver
Height: 5’9”
Weight: 175 LBS

2019 Game Stats: Appeared in just one game before redshirting

If you may recall, Jaden Mitchell was the 2018 recruit that got injured his senior year, and then practically all hell broke loose.

Prior to coming to Tucson, the Wildcats hired Kevin Sumlin to replace Rich Rodriguez, then Sumlin honored the commitment of Mitchell, but with him injured, it delayed his arrival/ official signing for about a year due to the knee injury.

Finally, the former Desert Pines standout made it to Tucson last year, but still recovering and adjusting, we could finally see his impact felt in 2020.

He’s got solid size and speed for a screen-type receiver. I could see him getting some time on special teams, and possibly even get into the receiving rotation, especially with the position being fairly open, and Jamarye Joiner being out this Spring due to injury.

Because of those factors, to me, Mitchell is a player to possibly watch out for!
