With the 2021 Collegiate Baseball season so far away, there will be plenty of hype next year, as the Arizona Baseball team is pre-season ranked No. 12.

It was a season that was cut much sooner than we would have liked for Arizona Baseball in 2020, nonetheless, it’s time to move on and prepare for 2021.

So far this off-season has been rather fortuitous for the Wildcats as they only seemingly lost Austin Wells and Matthew Dyer to the MLB Draft. Outside of that, they virtually have everyone returning.

Pair that with the incoming recruiting class that is ranked No. 11, and this group could be really special next season!

As you may recall, we did talk about this a bit already, highlighting why we think Arizona Baseball could be a dangerous team heading into 2021!

Well, apparently we aren’t the only ones that think so!

On Monday, Baseball America took to social media announcing their Pre-Season Top 25 list, and coming in at No. 12 was our beloved Wildcats!

Arizona is the second, highest ranked Pac-12 baseball program on the list, with UCLA being the top ranked program from the conference at No. 3 overall. ASU is the only other ranked Pac-12 school, ranked No. 23 overall.

While this is all a bit early, nonetheless it’s exciting to see Arizona Baseball getting some national recognition!

With Arizona having all this talent and hype, it’s time for coach Jay Johnson to start producing. Since the team appeared in the College World Series in 2016, the results and production has been declining.
