Already into Week 4 of a wild NFL Season, we take a look at how our Former Wildcats and ex-Arizona Football stars performed this week!

My how this NFL season has been flying by. Already into Week Four of the season, and we are seeing more and more former Arizona Football players appearing on rosters and even making sizeable impacts.

This past week was certainly a busy one, especially as we all saw Nick Foles play savior in the Chicago Bears’ come from behind win over the Atlanta Falcons.

Additionally, Demetrius Flannigan-Fowles made his first appearance with the 49ers this last week, coming away with two tackles in a 36-9 win over the New York Giants.

And lastly, we saw it topped off as former Wildcat Jace Whittaker was promoted to the Arizona Cardinals.

Well with Week 4 now in the books, here is how our Former Wildcats fared.

Nick Foles (CHI) – Appearing in his first start with the Chicago Bears, it was a rather forgettable performance as he and Chicago struggled mightily against the Indianapolis Colts. Foles finished his day 26-42 passing with 249 yards passing with one touchdown and one interception.

J.J. Taylor (NE) – Did not record any stats in the Patriots’ 26-10 loss to the Kansas City Chiefs.

Nick Folk (NE) – Folk went a perfect 1/1 on Field Goals, connecting on his only attempt from 43 yards out. He did also connect on the Patriots’ only Extra Point attempt.

Will Parks (PHI) – Philly Will is getting closer and closer to returning, as the former Wildcat safety anxiously awaits his chance to play for his hometown team. However, it may be another week or two, until he plays, still recovering from an injured hamstring.

Rob Gronkowski (TB) – Still trying to get into the groove after his one-year layoff, Gronk finished his day with one reception for 29 yards, bringing up his season total to nine receptions for 88 yards. The Buccaneers however are rolling, improving their record to 3-1 after the big, come from behind, 38-31 win over the Los Angeles Chargers.

Dane Cruikshank (TEN) – Still not playing yet, the Titans’ safety is still recovering while on the Injured Reserved list. Perhaps luckily for Dane, he and the Titans had a postponed game due to Covid, giving himself another week to recovery from the Injury.

Jace Whittaker (ARI) The former Wildcat did get promoted to the Cardinals this weekend, but unfortunately he did not record any stats in the Cardinals’ 31-21 road loss to the Carolina Panthers.

Demetrius Flannigan-Fowles (SF) – Mostly playing with the San Francisco 49ers in a Special Teams’ capacity, Flannigan-Fowles recorded two tackles (one solo) in the 49ers’ 25-20 loss to the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday evening.
