Isaiah Taylor, son of NFL Hall of Famer commits to Arizona Football
With nearly a month until National Signing Day, the Arizona Football team has secured a commitment from Florida-area Safety, Isaiah Taylor.
Arizona Football head coach Jedd Fisch is on a roll. After bringing in numerous transfers and convincing several Wildcats in the transfer portal to stay, his recruiting hasn’t stopped, securing a commitment from Florida-area safety Isaiah Taylor.
A standout at the supremely talented St. Thomas Aquinas High School in Ft. Lauderdale, FL, Isaiah made his commitment known via social media Friday evening, picking the Wildcats over Coastal Carolina, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, Missouri, and Vanderbilt among others.

Coming into this off-season, it was known that the Wildcats were in desperate need of help in the secondary, so naturally, it makes sense that the new coaching staff is prioritizing this area in recruiting.
With Isaiah, they are getting a talented kid that comes from good football lineage. For those that don’t know, Isaiah is the son of former NFL Hall of Famer Jason Taylor.
Standing a sturdy 5-feet-11-inches and coming in at 195 pounds, he already has great size, and being from the talented St. Thomas Aquinas High School, Isaiah has played against some of the states’ best high school players, perhaps that gives him an edge early on.
This is a great pick-up for Arizona, not only because he addresses a position of need or is the son of an NFL legend, but because he is a talented athlete with numerous Power Five offers.
On film, he is just as impressive. Isaiah shows great vision, seeing the ball well and attacking! He also seems to have great fluidity in his hips, able to drop in coverage or make a break and pursue the ball carrier.
He also does well in getting the football at its highest point and even packs nice power in his hits! Just see for yourself!
At Zona Zealots, we’re excited about the addition of Isaiah and can’t wait to see him in Tucson! As always, Bear Down, Arizona!
