Continuing to make waves in the recruiting class of 2022, Arizona Football has now added the No. 2 overall all-purpose running back, Jonah Coleman.

Already making moves for 2022 and beyond, Arizona Football head coach Jedd Fisch has added another piece to the puzzle in Northern California area running back, Jonah Coleman.

Making news via social media, the commitment of Coleman was announced on Monday evening, and it bolsters what has been a busy day for Arizona Football.

Just hours after Jerry Roberts announced his transfer and subsequent commitment to Arizona, Coleman was making news of his own.

Picking Arizona over offers from Tennessee, Oregon State, San Diego State, and Colorado State among others, this is a solid addition for the Wildcats.

Coming in, Jonah is considered the No. 2 ranked player for his position, the No. 34 overall player from the talent-rich state of California, and the No. 465 player in the class for 2022 all according to 247Sports.

Jonah Coleman is the highest-ranked player committed to Arizona Football in the 2022 recruiting class, and his addition highlights just how well this staff has recruited thus far.

Arizona has a deep backfield already, but as we should all be aware, it is that you can never have enough running backs. Plus, they just don’t make too many players like Jonah.

A standout from Lincoln High School, he is a sturdy back that stands 5-feet-9-inches and 205 pounds. Fresh off a monstrous 2019 season in which he ran for nearly 1,600 yards and 31 touchdowns with four touchdown receptions to go along with 325 yards receiving, he is a very productive kid.

He excels as a runner and pass-catcher out of the backfield and makes everything he does look easy.

On film, he is impressive. He explodes out of the backfield, keeping himself low, and hitting his holes with speed and power. Jonah possesses good vision, balance, and quickness, able to bounce the ball outside if needed, and doesn’t shy from contact.

Overall, he is the complete package in terms of running backs go. The kid just oozes potential, and you can tell the game comes easy for him! Just watch for yourself!
