With Arizona Football deeply entrenched in their Fall Camp, incoming Defensive Lineman transfer Mo Diallo is impressing early with the Wildcats.

The 2021 season is just around the corner and with Arizona Football action heating up, one player that is also heating up is Central Michigan transfer, Mo Diallo.

A standout defensive lineman that transferred to the Wildcats less than a week ago, coming in, I know there was curiosity regarding Diallo’s conditioning and preparedness for the upcoming season.

Well, already taking part in fall camp and Diallo has been a pleasant surprise!

For starters, he is listed at 285 pounds, which is seemingly down 20 pounds from what he was listed at with the Chippewas. With a thinner and lighter frame, it appears to be making a difference already in his conditioning.

In his first practice with the Wildcats, Mo had seemingly stood out, showing that dominance he had while playing in the MAC.

While there’s still a way for him to go, him showing promise early is encouraging for the Wildcats, especially as he seemed to run with the ones as an edge rusher.

The defensive success for Arizona Football in 2021 will hinge on the play and pressure generated by the defensive line.

There’s no secret that over the past decade, where the Wildcats have seemingly struggled the most on defense is on the defensive line. For whatever reason, the Wildcats have just not been able to find many answers there, nor have they been able to create a decent pass rush.

The hope is that in 2021, that all changes. I mean, just from first glance, this is probably the deepest and most talented group the Wildcats have had in quite some time.

Adding in several transfers, and having a few key players return, perhaps Arizona may finally have the answers they have been looking for along the defensive line, and Mo showing early that he is ready is refreshing to hear.
