Max love his Wildcats so much he started a fan page on Facebook; his likes have grown to 378 and counting in just three months. His mission is to honor University of Arizona Wildcat Players: past, present and future. He wants to help others by freeing them of having to look up stats for Arizona athletes and proving them on a daily basis.
He also wants to make sure Wildcats fans know more about our incoming recruits. He is very proud of the page and glad to hear that so many followers love it. His goal for the page is to get 1000 followers and to get former players to follow the page.
Here is the link and the interview:
How long have you been a fan of the Arizona Wildcats?
I have been a fan of UofA athletics since 1994.
What was it about the University of Arizona Athletics program that caught your attention?
Growing up in Tucson AZ, there are no pro teams. The closest teams to Tucson were all in Phoenix AZ. I grew up just down the road from the UofA and loved the tradition and pride that came with being a Wildcat fan. The football team was great and the basketball team was even better.
What are some of your favorite things about the Arizona Wildcats?
My favorite thing about the Wildcats is the Basketball program. There is just so much tradition and pride to the program. The past players still contribute and the legacy continues to grow. Watching UofA basketball is my favorite past time.
Do you always watch Arizona games or go to the games when they are in town? How often at home, how often in person, how often do you listen on the Radio?
I watch every game. I live in Los Angeles so I go to both the USC and UCLA games while representing the Cats. If I can’t watch the game I will DVR it and watch it later. I don’t listen to the games on the radio living in LA. I try to go to at least one home game a season.
And/Or do you go to a specific establishment or sports bar to watch the games? If so, what place?
If I don’t have the channel because the PAC12 Network does not show on Direct TV, I will go to Buffalo Wildwings or watch the game at a friends house.

What is your favorite saying when it comes to the Arizona Wildcats?
What else would it be? #BEARDOWN
Do you have any game day rituals or game day look?
Game days I wear any of my past players jerseys, any of my UofA hats, and my (Jason Terry) CATS socks
Do you have a favorite Arizona Wildcat moment? (in a game and/or meeting someone involved)
Arizona Wildcats Basketball 1997 National Championship
Meeting Coach Lute Olson at this seasons Red and Blue game
Tell us about the pride you feel when you wear the school colors.
I feel a sense of pride that you only get from being in an exclusive club. I love being a Wildcat fan. Living in Los Angeles I notice UCLA and USC fans don’t have the same passion UofA fans do; Bandwagon fans mainly.
Does winning or losing a game affect your mood? In which ways?
Defiantly. When we win, I am as high as a kite. When we lose, don’t talk to me. I might be mad for days. #CARDIACCATS
Who is your favorite Arizona Wildcat player and what sport do they or did they play? Favorite Coach? And why?
I have many favorite players from the long list of past Wildcats. My most favorite player is Jason “The Jet” Terry who played for the Men’s Basketball team. Favorite Coach is Lute of course. Because they were a part of the National Championship.
If you could say one thing to them, what would it be?
#BEARDOWN
