On the eve of the kickoff of the 2016 college football season, Zona Zealots takes a look at which bowl games national publications are projecting or not for Arizona Football.

While the AFR Celebration Bowl in the Georgia Dome won’t kick off until noon on December 17th, it is never too early to speculate where a team will end up spending bowl season.

Whether bowl season is eventually spent on a couch or at Raymond James Stadium on January 9th, 2017 for the National Championship, most teams will likely find themselves in a bowl game as college football recently expanded to an unprecedented 41 bowl games, requiring 80 teams to participate.

Before a single snap of 2016 Wildcats football, let’s take a look at which bowl games several reputable national publications are currently projecting for Arizona.
