Motel 6 Cactus Bowl (Big 12 sixth vs. Pac-12 seventh): Texas Longhorns vs. Arizona Wildcats

Where: Chase FieldPhoenix, AZ

When: December 27th, 2016

Starting with 247 Sports, writer Brad Crawford picked the Wildcats to stay in the state of Arizona by playing in the Motel 6 Cactus Bowl, at Chase Field, home of the Arizona Diamondbacks.

Their projected opponent would be the Texas Longhorns, one of college football’s blue-blooded programs that recently hasn’t enjoyed the success it was once accustomed. That being said, Texas continually boasts some of the best-recruiting classes in the nation as well as a constant bevy of future NFL draft picks.

If the Cats do indeed play in the 2016 Cactus Bowl against the Longhorns, Arizona fans won’t have to travel far to support the home team in the friendly confines of an air-conditioned baseball park.
