The Arizona Wildcat’s class of 2017-18 is stacked with talent! We are featuring Ira Lee – a force to be reckoned with.

What time is it? It’s LeeTime! With all the talented incoming Wildcat freshman and returners this season, it’s easy to give more attention to some over others, leaving some “under the radar.” One of those is Ira “LeeTime” Lee.

For those who know what Lee is capable of, they know he’s got the goods! At 6-foot-8 and 225 pounds, Ira has the agility, power and raw talent to have quite an impact when he is on the floor.

An example of this would be this past senior year at Crossroads High School when Lee put up a double-double scoring 24 points and grabbing ten rebounds in a dominant win (73-40) over Campbell Hall. Also in that game, his teammate and Arizona Class of 2018 Wildcat commit Shareef O’Neal, added 11 points and seven rebounds. In Lee’s senior season, he averaged 17 points, nine rebounds and almost three assists per game.

This past summer he also took part in the well established Drew League. Lee showcased his talent, proving why he will have a very successful basketball career.

In addition to the Drew League, Lee also took part in the Ballislife All American game where he played against current teammate and friend Brandon Randolph. He showed off his dunk skills in style, which included a left hand “shut down the gym” dunk over three players!

After the Ballslife event, In the Front Row was able to catch up with these two Wildcats. You can tell how much fun they had playing together on the same court. The passion they have for the game of basketball and their excitement to be playing for Arizona is undeniable!

Recently on Twitter, LeeTime expressed his view on being “under the radar”:

Even O’Neal had this to say about Ira:

As a Wildcat, Lee averaged six points and five rebounds per game during the Spain tour. Against the Mataro All Stars, Lee and Randolph combined their talents in this block by LeeTime, leading to a THUNDEROUS dunk by Slim!

If there is one lesson to be learned after reading this, it’s not a good idea to overlook Ira or else you may regret it!
