Already in the full swing of their off season, the Arizona Football team continues their focus on recruiting, hosting a Dallas area defensive back.

As the Arizona Football team is prepared to conclude its first Spring Camp under Kevin Sumlin, the Wildcats will now turn all of their focus to recruiting.

So far, Sumlin and Arizona have not been shy about offering the best talent across the country, and if the Wildcats want to take that next, proverbial step, they are going to need to get big time talent. Well, the only way to do that is to recruit the best, rather than shy away from it.

Since the coaching change, the University of Arizona has seen a number of visitors, and that’s a good thing!

If you are able to sell a recruit on at least getting on campus, you never know what can happen after that.

This weekend will once again be another big one for the Arizona Football program as the Wildcats host their annual, Spring Scrimmage inside Arizona Stadium. The scrimmage will be open to the public, and will conclude the 2018 Spring Schedule.

Additionally, the Wildcats will have a number of key visitors this weekend, including the Dallas area defensive back, Logan Wilson.

Wilson, a three-star defensive back will be in Tucson on Thursday.

Hailing from the talented, Bishop Dunne High School in Dallas, Wilson is a talented corner, who has seen his recruitment gain some momentum of late, and their is a lot to like about this recruit.

Aside from Arizona, Wilson also holds offers from; Iowa, Toledo, UTEP and UTSA among others. We feel the Wildcats have a good chance in this recruitment, and it will be interesting to see how this one plays out.

One thing that’s certain, is that Wilson hasn’t been shy about his adoration for the Wildcats, calling the offer from Arizona a ‘dream come true‘.

It also helps that Wilson is friends with 2018 Arizona signee, Dayven Coleman. A great selling point for Wilson being on campus, is that Coleman will also be in joining him!

By looking at his film, there’s a lot to like about his game, and with secondary coach Demetrice Martin as his lead recruiter, it appears he agrees too!

Wilson does quite well in coverage. Despite being just 5’10”, Wilson covers a lot of ground, and makes great breaks towards the football, recovering well to put himself in a position to make a play.

He’s got good eye discipline, always knowing where the football is, as well as his receiver. Another thing to really like about Wilson is that he doesn’t shy away from contact. Aside from jamming receivers, Wilson appears to do well in one-on-one situations to make the tackle!
