Sean Miller and Arizona Basketball continuing to go to work in recruiting, as the Wildcats host a five-star shooting guard in the class of 2019!

There’s no rest for Arizona Basketball coach Sean Miller. Weeks after finishing his recruiting class for 2018, the Wildcats shift their recruiting focus to 2019 and beyond.

With Arizona already in on a few key players for 2019, the Wildcats have a huge visit from five-star shooting guard, Josh Green! It was announced the talented, 6-foot-6-inch guard from IMG Academy in Florida will be in Tucson starting Wednesday, June 13.

The visit will be an unofficial, which means technically Green can visit as many times as he wants on an unofficial visit, only thing being is that the trip is paid for by Green and his family. Luckily Green is from Arizona.

Before attending IMG Academy in Bradenton, FL, Green was a standout player at Mountain Ridge High School in Glendale, AZ. During that time, he has actually become good friends with current Wildcat recruit and West Coast Elite teammate, Nico Mannion.

The visit is a big one, as Green is easily one of the best players in the class of 2019, and essentially has every major offer including, Villanova, Kansas, UCLA and Oregon among many others.

While there is a way to go in this recruitment, you have to take as many opportunities as possible to sell yourself to a recruit, especially one like Green.

Despite the FBI uncertainty following Arizona, Miller is showing no signs of slowing down in recruiting. After the devastating and unprofessional report by ESPN, the Wildcats have recovered nicely, signing the 21st overall ranked class according to 247Sports.

That’s also not including the additions of graduate transfers, Justin Coleman and Ryan Luther.

Heading into 2019, it’ll be hard to gauge just exactly what the Wildcats will need, but it’s safe to at least say Green is a definite need.

He is a powerful two guard, with great size, strength and versatility. Green can guard multiple positions, can really light it up on the offensive end, and shows great court vision and willingness as a passer.

As he continues to develop his jump shot into being a more consistent shooter, the upside and potential is huge!
