Continuing to try and work his magic in recruiting, head coach Sean Miller and Arizona Basketball gave out more offers for the class of 2019!

It has been a busy summer for Sean Miller and the Arizona Basketball team. Helping to shore up holes in their 2018-19 roster, Miller and the Wildcats now turn their focus towards the 2019 class and beyond.

Currently in attendance at the Las Vegas Fab 48, Miller was watching a number of Arizona recruits this weekend, from; Boogie Ellis, to Drew Timme and Ziaire Williams Jr. among others. A few others that were in attendance were; CJ Walker (four-star Power Forward from Orlando Christian Prep) and Lester Quinones (four-star Shooting Guard from St. Benedict’s Prep in New York).

Following the successful weekend, it appears a couple of those players in attendance received offers from Miller and the University of Arizona.

Walker received an offer today, as did Quinones, who added an Arizona offer to his list of schools on earlier today!

As it stands, the Wildcats currently do not have any commitments in the class of 2019, but Arizona is very much focused on a few players. Recently reclassified point guard Nico Mannion is certainly one of their major targets, as is his AAU teammate, Josh Green.

The offers for Quinones and Walker are solid ones! Both had impressive weekends, with Quinones having one of the best performances, scoring 37 against Team Rio.

Quinones is a sturdy, sharp-shooting guard from New York. Holding offers from Xavier, Connecticut, Florida and Arizona among others, he is certainly having a nice off-season!

Due to his huge performance in Las Vegas this weekend, it’s no surprise Miller decided to extend an offer.

As for Walker, his recruitment is an interesting one. Supposedly considering Louisville and Tennessee according to 247Sports, it appears Miller and the Cats are doing their best to enter this recruitment.

He is a long, athletic forward with great athleticism, solid defensive instincts and versatility. Walker currently holds offers from Alabama, Memphis, Florida, Florida State and now Arizona among others, and has been steadily improving this summer.

One area the Wildcats will need to focus on in 2019 is the forward position. Gone will be graduate transfer Ryan Luther after this season, but Stone Gettings will become eligible, and we don’t know how far along Ira Lee will be either. Arizona would be wise in adding a post player or two.

Both these offers are good ones, and helps the Wildcats should they miss out on a few other targets. In recruiting, you can’t put all your eggs in one basket!
