Former Arizona Wildcat Kyle Fogg leads Overseas Elite to fourth consecutive TBT Championship game
By David Rosen
Former Arizona Wildcat and current shooting guard for the Overseas Elite led his team with 38 points and a spot in the TBT Championship game.
MVP, MVP, MVP! Two-time defending TBT MVP and former Arizona Wildcat Kyle Fogg lead his time to victory against the Golden Eagles (Marquette Alumni) in the semifinals of the winner take all 2 million dollar TBT (The Basketball Tournament). He leads all scorers with 38 points, including some crucial threes and free throws late in the game. Elite would go onto win 85-60 and will now face Eberlin Drive in the TBT Championship Game.
The Elite are currently 24-0, looking to 4-peat in the TBT and are looking to get a little richer with the $2 million prize. The way they play together as the time, they would have a very good chance against any time in the NCAA Tournament. I would go even as far to say they would have a legitimate chance to win it all.

They have cruised to the championship game, except for one game against Louisiana United where they one by one point. Jeremy Pargo hit a free to reach the Target Score (A Target Score is set by adding seven to the leading team’s score with four minutes to play) and earned the Elite the victory.
Consistent professional players like Fogg are one of the main reasons why this team has gone on to this historic run. They will certainly need Fogg to play his game if want to add another trophy to the back of their jersey.
Fogg plays for the Guangzhou Long-Lions of the Chinese Basketball Association. Watching him play, he always seems to be under control with the ball. Whether it’s dribbling the ball up the court under pressure or trying to create a shot for himself, Fogg does it with such control and balance.
He showed all the goods in this one! This long-range three-pointer at the end of the game, more like a 4-pointer, hits nothing but the bottom of the net:
Highlight show! Late in the 3rd quarter, he displayed his court awareness and quickness. From passing the ball in, to getting the ball back and then driving it to the basket – this man apparently does it all!
As the Elite look to extend their unbeaten streak to 25-0 and capture a 4th TBT Championship, Zona Zealots and Wildcats fans will be their cheering Fogg and the Elite on to victory. Tune in to ESPN tomorrow night at 9 pm EST, 6 pm PST to watch it all go down.
