Arizona Football Has a Few Licenses: One to Drive Sportscars and One to Thrill!
A pleasant surprise today as I awaited this years entry into the pre-first-game Arizona Football parody ‘get hyped’ video. As if we could even be more hyped up for the start of the Wildcats football season, this video puts me over the edge!
I just got my football tickets in the mail, when I turned to Twitter to see what’s going on out there with our Arizona Football team and I wasn’t dissapointed. This video is by far the best in my eyes. The team, Rich Rod, his wife, his daughter and her Pom Line and the GymCats outdid themselves. You gotta love how the football team and the Gymcats have supported each other this summer. Two great films.

Last years entry from the football team was a western themed video, very entertaining and appropriate, this one was classier and I am thinking it’s because Mrs. Rich Rod, or Mrs. Rita Rodriguez is the Executive Producer. I am imagining that she got her husband to take some classical dance classes, something I would love to get my husband to do. I say ‘classical’ because you can tell from the GymCats video, the classes weren’t hip hop. I will add though, I will watch our Head Coach dance anytime, I cannot get enough.
There is a point in the video where I busted out laughing..wonder if you laugh at the same scene too, let ZZ know in the comments below which part was your favorite or made you laugh.
And THOSE SPORTS CARS! It’s fun enough just to watch for that reason, great looking college football players all dressed up in tuxedos looking like they are off to the ESPY’s driving the fanciest sports cars through Tucson and then on the University of Arizona campus and into the football stadium in true NFL Style. It’s a must see.
Where did the cars come from? I am guessing the Davis family. In the credits at the end, you’ll see ‘Special Thanks to Jeannie and Cole Davis.’ Do their names ring a bell? Well they should because they have donated millions of dollars to the Arizona Athletics according to ArizonaWildcats.com:
"Tucsonans Cole and Jeannie Davis have committed a $6 million leadership gift to the University of Arizona in order to initiate the first phase of renovations to the McKale Memorial Center. The Davis family has now reached $10 million in giving to Arizona’s athletics department, which also includes a leadership gift for the construction of the Richard Jefferson Gymnasium, its strength and conditioning center, and basketball locker room and hallway renovations in McKale."
I don’t want to blow the rest for you, I would just like to say how impressed I am with this school, their athletic departments flair for going the distance, their uniqueness and the fact that nothing is out of reach nor out-of-bounds to keep their students, faculty, employees and fans entertained. What’s most important is that they’re serious competitors who never give up and play ‘all 60 minutes.’
Wildcats fans, I challenge you to stay at the games this year for the entire game! Don’t be like those fickle fans in Los Angeles, you know the one’s I mean, the one’s that sometimes don’t even show up.
The Arizona Wildcats football team is hard edge winners who are going to beat the odds and shut up all the critics this season!
BEARDOWN ARIZONA!
