Arizona Basketball: Five-Star Guard Josh Green has his Top 6 Schools
There is more, good Arizona Basketball recruiting news as the Wildcats landed in another top list, this time with a five-star guard, Josh Green!
It’s always a good time to be a Wildcat fan, and on Monday, good recruiting news came as five-star guard Josh Green narrowed his list to his Top Six schools! As that list came via social media, the Wildcats made the cut!
The No. 11 overall player in the class of 2019 is also considering North Carolina, Kansas, Villanova, USC, and UNLV in addition to Arizona. From there, Green will try to narrow his list of schools even further and set-up his official visits!
A standout at IMG Academy in Bradenton, FL, this has been an interesting recruitment. Arizona was actually Green’s first, significant offer when he was attending high school in Phoenix at Mountain Ridge High School.
Fast forward, and Green is now one of the top prospects in his respective class, holding numerous high-profile offers!

As we’ve mentioned before, this could be a good situation for Arizona, as it appears Sean Miller and the Wildcats have done well in this recruitment. Plus, he is an AAU teammate of fellow Wildcat recruit, Nico Mannion.
In addition to being friends and teammates with Mannion, the both of them are considering Arizona, which could perhaps be a good thing for the Wildcats. I guess we will have to wait and see.
Nonetheless, Arizona making Green’s final list of schools is a great feat. Green is an impressive athlete and one that should be highly coveted among Wildcats fans!
Standing an impressive 6-feet-6-inches and 190-pounds, Green is a versatile athlete that can either play the two-guard or perhaps a bit of small forward.
Originally an Australian-native, Green is a powerful and complete player who brings versatility to both ends of the floor.
He has great athleticism, size, and strength, and can score in some ways. Green can easily drive the lane or can pull up or spot up to make the jumper.
Green is a fantastic player, and watching him play is an amazing thing!
At Zona Zealots, we are excited to see the latest developments in Green’s recruitment and wish him the best as he continues in making his choices! Bear Down, Arizona!
