Arizona Basketball may be getting a visit soon from Class of 2020 five-star combo guard Marjon Beauchamp.

Versatile. That would be the best way to describe Class of 2020 five-star combo guard MarJon Beauchamp, who plans on making an Arizona Basketball visit. One of the top players in the class and the No.1 player in the state of Washington, Beauchamp has much to offer to any team that is lucky enough to get him. Plus, a name like that he must be a champ!

He recently announced he is moving from Seattle to Arizona for his senior year of high school to play for Bella Vista College Prep. That is the same school that current incoming freshman Terry Armstrong went to. A school that breeds talent for sure!

According to 247 Sports, Beauchamp is ranked No.20 in the nation, No.5 small forward (even though he plays more like a guard) and No.1 in the state of Washington. A native to the state, the Washington Huskies are currently a front runner. His decision though to move to Arizona his senior year and interest to play for Arizona Basketball could be an indication he may want to play in Tucson.

Listed at 6 foot 6 and 175 pounds, he will need to bulk up to compete down low in college. Beauchamp skill level though is solid. Like many other five-star athletes, they all have one thing in common – versatility.

He has the ability to play both the two and three, maybe even the four. Beauchamp has a long wing span helps him on both ends of the floor. He has soft hands when it comes finding his teammates, is quick off the dribble and can finish at the rim with authority. His lengthy body frame and style of play reminds you a little bit of Kevin Durant.

Beauchamp would fit in perfectly with Coach Sean Miller’s system with his ability to play multiple positions. Plus, as we have mentioned before with these highly sought after recruits, playing time and their role on the team, are two key selling points when trying to get someone of his athletic ability to come to your school. Miller should have no problem in convincing Beauchamp that he would have an essential and valuable role with this team.

He has played his last three seasons of high school basketball for Rainer Beach High School, where he helped his team within two state championships. Beauchamp also plays for the AAU team, Bradley NW Panthers. During the Adidas Gold Gauntlet he averaged 16 points per game, 5.25 rebounds per game and 2.5 assist in 29.8 minutes per game.

In addition, he also just recently took part in the Pangos All American Camp, which is a showcase that hosts the 115 all-American high school players. For his size, what is his capable of, will make him a valuable asset for whichever team he chooses. Currently he has offers from many Pac-12 schools as well schools on the east coast.
