Arizona Basketball received word that Class of 2021 Aussie standout, Mojave King, has scheduled an official visit to Arizona.
One of the top international players for the Class of 2021, Mojave King, has scheduled an official visit to Arizona from October 8th-11th. Arizona Basketball has had a few top-quality international players in recent seasons, Deandre Ayton, Lauri Markkanen. Plus there is incoming incoming freshman Aussie Josh Green joining this seaon’s team. They are looking to add to that list with the addition of King for the 2021-22 season.
Listed as a 6 foot 5, 195-pound shooting guard, King has the goods to be one the top overall shooting guards in his class. He has a 6 foot 4 wingspan, wow! There have been previous Wildcats who’ve had some impressive wingspans, including the first that comes to mind, Brandon Ashley. He had a huge impact during his playing career at Arizona.
King currently plays for the NBA Global Academy there, where he has been dominating. He recently took part in the NBA Academy Games in Atlanta and was the leading scorer with 16 points per game and shot 18-35 from three over the course of six games.

He does not yet have a rating yet according to 247 Sports, but if King were to receive one based on his play now, would likely be a five-star player. He has the whole package. Versatile shooting guard with a tremendous upside.
His style of play is one that really opens up the floor. Opponents have to respect his outside shot, but when they try to contain him he has the ability to go right by them with the left or right hand. King has a burst of speed that’s hard to defend.
Having a large wingspan helps him even more on the glass and on defense with deflections and blocks. One thing though that stands out more than anything is his shooting technique. It’s very obvious he has put in a lot of work on his shot and it shows.
He's been getting buckets in NBL1, and now Mojave King is turning heads in the #NBA

Because of his versatility, size and strength, King would be a perfect fit for Arizona. Having someone that Sean Miller can count on, on both ends of the floor, it’s a match made in heaven! At Zona Zealots, we look forward to Mojave King enjoying his official visit to Arizona. As always, Bear Down Arizona!
