Arizona Basketball Class of 2020 commit Dalen Terry signed his NLI today, who will be next?

Arizona Basketball received its first new addition to the Class of 2020 sign today, Dalen Terry. He committed back in July and now has officially become a Wildcat after signing his NLI. Currently, Terry is the only recruit that Arizona has signed for next season. There are a couple of others who have yet to verbally commit but do have Arizona in their final list. Who’s next?

Around this time last year, the Wildcats already had a couple that verbally committed. With a lot of factors in play and the college basketball landscape become more and more competitive, sometimes it takes time to sign recruits. Just have to be patient.

In a recent press conference, head coach Sean Miller indicated they he is expected to have five recruits for the 2020-21 season. Who might those five be? Well according to 247 Sports, there are at least three highly talent recruits that possibly might choose Arizona by the Spring signing period or sooner.

More from Basketball Recruiting

A four-star recruit and one of the best shooting guards next season, Adam Miller, has Arizona in his Final 3 and is set to announce his commitment on November 21. 247 Sports Crystal Picks has him staying in-state and going to Ilinois, but never count out Arizona.

Five-star Ziaire Williams, who recently made his official visit to Arizona, has the Wildcats in his Final 7. He is currently ranked the No.5 overall recruit for the Class of 2020 and extremely versatile for his size, being able to play multiple positions in the frontcourt.

The third recruit that Arizona is in the running for is four-star shooting guard Kerwin Walton. He currently plays for Hopkins, the same school that Zeke Nnaji played for. That’s a good sign for sure! Right now there are a lot of schools in the mix him with Arizona being one of the hopeful frontrunners.  Walton was in attendance for the Red and Blue game, which was a great way for him to get the full experience. Like current Wildcat Max Hazzard, Walton is a premier three-point shooter that would add immediate depth to the backcourt.

At Zona Zealots, we look forward to what happens next with Arizona Basketball recruiting. All three are great athletes and would be immediate impact players. Stay tuned to see where they go. As always, Bear Down, Arizona!
