Arizona Basketball head coach Sean Miller continues to put in work with recruiting and is looking to build the future of Wildcat Basketball.

Always looking to build this program. Arizona Basketball head coach Sean Miller is out and about looking to build the future. Even with the non-conference season over and the Pac-12 season about to begin, that hasn’t stopped Miller’s recruiting efforts. It’s just not him, assistant coach Danny Peters and others have been out there make their presence known. As a Wildcat fan, you have to be excited about seeing the coaching staff going after elite talent.

Today’s landscape of college basketball has drastically changed since Miller took over from Lute Olson ten years ago. During the Olson days, there weren’t too many ones and done’s. Under Miller, he has seen plenty of them. That being the case, he has to consistently recruit, before, during and after the season ends. It’s a year-round effort by all members of his staff to recruit elite talent that would fit in with their system.

For the 2020 season, the Wildcats did get Dalen Terry to sign and commit. He is extremely versatile, has a great attitude on and off the court and is going to have a big impact role next season. Who will join him? That we are still waiting to see.

Possibly could be Class of 2020 five-star forward Ziaire Williams, who is making his Sierra Canyon debut. Miller and Peters among others will be in attendance to watch. Love that! Williams recently did say the Wildcats are recruiting him hard. If the Wildcats were to land him, that would be huge!

It’s just not 2020 that Miller is looking to build out, but it’s 2021 and even 2022. Love that! Class of 2021, Four-star forward Peyton Watson has already made his official visit to Arizona back in September and also received an offer. Listed at 6 foot 7, he has a lot of versatility, can shoot the ball well and has good handles.

Another member of the 2021 class, Isael Silva, who went to the Red and Blue game, recently indicated he thinks very highly of Miller and seems to be very interested in the Wildcats. His court vision and basketball IQ would make an immediate impact player, maybe even a starter.

Not done yet. Miller and Peters has been putting forth efforts in recruiting 2022 five-star combo guard Skyy Clark, who recently dropped 29 points. Like the others, for his size and strength, he is versatile. By the time he is ready for college basketball, Clark is going to be a problem.

In addition to Clark, Dylan Andrews and Kijani Wright ( both who have been offered by Arizona) are two other members of the class of 2022 that have caught the attention of Miller and Peters, who made the trip to watch them in action. According to 247 Sports, Andrews is listed as a four-star point guard and Wright is a five-star forward (currently ranked among the Top 10 in his class). These three are elite players and each brings their own dynamic to the game, making them quite the trio.

Two of these recruits, Silva and Clark, recently faced off against one another at the Classic at Damien, check it out!
