Facebook only allows you two options, so we picked Jason Terry and Gilbert Arenas. At the time this post was written, Terry was ahead of Arenas by double the votes, 276-143 (total 419 votes), but fans also had other ideas. A lot of fans picked Jason Gardner. Still, others thought Salim Stoudemire was the best. It was clear that no one can agree. On Twitter, we were able to include four total players in the poll, but again, we were faced with not having enough players to satisfy everyone.

With 579 voters on Twitter the results were as follows:

23%   Gilbert Arenas
40%   Mike Bibby
17%   Salim Stoudamire
20%   Jason Terry

If you were going to vote on the best guard while playing at Arizona, many fans said they had never seen anyone better than Khalid ReevesSalim Stoudamire, Damon Stoudamire, Miles Simon or Jason Gardner. A few fans threw in TJ McConnell and Allonzo Trier.

If you were going to judge the best guard based on NBA performance along with college, Steve Kerr‘s name came up a bunch, he is highly decorated. But overwhelmingly, Mike Bibby was the favorite along with Jason Terry.

Recently Jason Terry and Salim Stoudamire were recently spotted together, and that always brings a smile to our faces. Arizona ties run deep.
