Arizona Basketball: Hillcrest Prep’s Dalen Terry latest to receive offer

Arizona Basketball has sent out another offer for the Class of 2020, this time to Hillcrest Prep’s Dalen Terry.
Another one and another one! If you have been following us, it’s been non-stop with offers for the Class of 2020 being sent out. As a Arizona Basketball fan, have to love see Sean Miller and staff seeks out these highly talented players from all over the country. The latest offer goes out to four-star small forward Dalen Terry.
Watching highlights of Terry train and play, you can see why a lot of schools, especially out on the west coach or interested him. He has a long wingspan, good handles, can defend well and also as the ability to dish it off and shoot the ball with ease. Plus he knows a thing or two about dunking. Reminds you a little bit of Andre Iguodala.

Listed as a small forward at 6 foot 6 and 170 pounds, he has the body type to play multiple positions. More then likely he could play the two and three position. If Terry bulks up a little, maybe the four if needed.
He currently hold offers from 10 other schools, seven of them being from the Pac-12. Already playing in the state of Phoenix, makes sense that a lot of the Pac-12 schools are seeking him out. Memphis though seems to be the front runner at this point as they are making him a priority. Terry has indicated that Penny Hardaway has been one of his favorite players growing up. Never know though what could happen in the next year?
In his junior year at Hillcrest Prep, Terry averaged 16.1 points, 11.4 assists, 6.2 rebounds, 4.1 steals and 1.7 blocks per game. Wow. That’s what you call filling up the stat sheet!
Here are highlights of him taking part in the Tarkanian Classic for Hillcrest Prep:
Terry took part in the Pangos All-American Camp, where he showed off many of his talents, including nice looking lob assists. He is also taking part in the NBPA Top 100 Camp. In addition, he also plays for the AAU Team Compton Magic. Dedication to getting better is apparent by all of these events and competitions he has been part of.
If he were to choose Arizona, he would see the playing time because of versatility, ability to defend and do all the little things. Coach Miller is all about defense and things that don’t show up on the box score. Terry would fit in perfectly!
